Why Josephine Sellers Autobiography is relevant to the approach of 2012.

Twenty seven years ago I began to write autobiographically. I knew that the events taking place in my life were unusual and important, but not just for me. I felt, deep within, that something of considerable magnitude was going to transpire for me and my husband, although I had absolutely no idea at that time, what on earth that might be. I also had no idea of the personal challenges that lie ahead of the both of us.

Around that time the energy of a cleric, who had lived in Dorset some four hundred years prior, began to give information to me, relating to the times we are now living in, as the year 2012 approaches. The first hint came in this passage received in 1984.

‘There will, in due course of time, become upon your earth, of such an awakening knowledge as to give you much happiness.‘

In 1987, following three years of continued information transmitted, that I have included in the passages of my book, the following comment was made by the long dead cleric: ‘What hope I am able to speak of – what pleasure for those who are close to despair at the state of the world today!’

For sure it is clear, to us all to see, this planet is crying out. Many, many of earth’s inhabitants are living in abject poverty, whilst others live in material excess and the natural environment is struggling. Greed, neglect and abuse – our planet suffers from the same angst that the human race mirrors. Many dire warnings are out in circulation, relating to the approach of 2012 and they are not without substance. Fear and conflict are the emotions that maintain this status quo.

Today we have forgotten who we really are, who we can be and what we can jointly achieve. We need to heal our psyches and uncover the true human spirit and potential that lies within us all, buried after centuries of misinformation, indoctrination and loss of connection to the creative life force. If we can rescue ourselves, by profound psychological healing, we can begin to shine once more and in so doing, our planet will begin to mirror the same transformation.

Many of earth’s inhabitants have to live in survival mode – damaged by their upbringing and desensitized by their cultural persuasions. The planet is financially, morally and emotionally bankrupt and almost, but not completely, spiritually bankrupt. It is this tiny light of spiritual possibility – that small flame that burns within us all, that is the key to possible transformation of ourselves and this planet, if we so choose.

This for me is what 2012 is all about – personal choice – for that is the commodity that many of us have allowed to have erased from our belief system. We have become so desensitized by those we have delegated our power and decisions to, that we believe we are now helpless as individuals – but I know it is not so. We need both, individually and collectively, to wake up. We are in this mire together. If we can remember, what and who we really are, then we can realize our potential as humans and the planet may survive. We have the choice!
